Remember the toy crazes of the past though. Pet Rocks? Furby? Tickle me Elmo? Cabbage Patch Kids? This one makes just as much sense as the rest of them. The success of the Littlest Pet Shop was a good indicator that this type of toy was popular. Kids aged 4-8 want pets, but rarely get them since most are incapable of taking care of them. This one acts like a real hamster without needing to be fed or pooping all over the place.
