There is no way around it boys love their scooters and few parents are able to withstand peer pressure. My only caveat is that parents should make the time to accompany their kids to the parks where they can safely enjoy their scooters without being exposed to risks of traffic. it makes for quality time for dads and the kids. And that kid was flying by. I did stop the car though although he was on the side of the road, but I wasn't sure if he was in full control and knew where he was going.
