This Zoom to the Moon play set may be the perfect present for a 3 or 4 year old who loves space. I discovered it when looking for the KidKraft rocket. It is made by a company called Imagiplay that makes lovely hand painted wooden toys. I know I am always trying to reduce the number of plastic toys in our play room (futile as that seems some days) and I know many other parents who are trying to do the same.
I especially love that the astronauts and aliens all fit in a zippered fabric rocket ship. Toys that double as their own storage container are the absolute best. Especially when they are destined to become favorites and have to travel on outside the house adventures. Looking for a book to go with it? Space Boy, by Leo Landry is my favorite space book.
