New Boon Scrubble Bath Toy

by mrstoyreporter on January 29, 2009

Is it normal to consider pre-ordering the new bath toy from Boon? I do love bath toys, but perhaps this indicates that my healthy affection for them is veering off into obsession. But look how great it is! It comes with interchangeable tops and bottoms. They can be used for scrubbing or you can can fill them and squirt the water out. Squirting toys are the go-to bath toys around here, but my problem with them is that you can never really get all the water out. I end up throwing them out when I suspect mold and I don’t even want to contemplate the bacteria inside a squirty toy. Well, the clever people at Boon have solved that by making the toys open and, (this is the best part) they are dishwasher safe. Imagine, bath toys you can actually clean! I don’t have to freak out anymore when water gets squirted into little mouths.

OK, I may pre-order, but I promise not to upgrade to next day shipping, because that would be crazy.

These are terrific. Bath toys freak me out a bit because they do always end up moldy. We usually end up using regular old cups that we can run through the dishwasher after a couple of days, but I love these!

I have to say that I might be adding myself to that preorder list, too. Those are amazingly adorable.

I can’t tell you how many bath toys we’ve had to throw away because of mold! Rubber Duckies…little froggies…the list goes on. It’s been hard on my son, and our budget. This sounds like a great solution.

Those toys look really cool, I might have to check them out. I have been looking for some good bath toys for my daughter for a while now and it seems like they always have the same stuff everywhere! Thanks for the post.
